Chief Acquisitions Officer

Scott McMartin is our Chief Acquisition Officer at Heritage Golf Group. With over 25 years of experience in real estate development, finance, sales, leasing and acquisitions, Scott was most recently the Executive Vice President & Chief Acquisition Officer for Sequoia Golf Holdings where he oversaw all business development and completed all new acquisitions. Prior to joining Sequoia in 2007, he served 15 years as Senior Vice President / Acquisitions for National Golf Properties, Inc., formally a real estate investment trust publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: TEE). While at National Golf Properties, Scott was responsible for the acquisition of more than 100 golf properties, investing more than $750 million until National Golf was acquired by Goldman Sachs Capital Partners and Starwood Capital Group as part of a $1.2 billion leveraged buyout in 2003. Since 1998, Scott has been a donor and served as Tournament Chairman for multiple fundraising events in support of the Tourette Syndrome Association. Scott holds BS degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Colorado.
