Joel Gohlmann

Senior Vice President of Operations

Joel Gohlmann has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the golf industry. For the past two years, Joel has been a Senior Vice President of Operations for Troon Golf, overseeing operations for many of their East Coast and Midwest facilities. Prior to Troon, Joel worked for over 15 years with Billy Casper Golf in a variety of leadership roles, receiving a promotion to the Executive Vice President of Operations in 2016. In his role, Joel was responsible for the performance and operations of all 150+ public, private, and resort facilities across 28 states, all driven by a passion to provide a fun and enjoyable experience for our members, guests, and associates while executing on facility initiatives to provide expected returns for our clients. In the first half of his career, Joel spent 13 years with American Golf Corporation, first as a General Manager making stops across the country in Colorado, Minnesota, and Michigan. He then relocated to Virginia as a Regional Director of Operations overseeing their Mid-Atlantic and Ohio Regions which included both private and public facilities. Gohlmann holds a seat on the board of the MidAtlantic NGCOA and is a graduate of Mount Mercy University with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Joel, wife Cyndi, and their family currently reside in Warrenton, Virginia. Joel and Cyndi have three boys (Corbin, Chase, Cooper) and one girl (Carys). Their oldest son Corbin and wife Nicole recently added new grandbaby Brooks to the family! When not traveling for visits to the clubs, Joel will be based in the Heritage corporate office in Herndon, Virginia. Please join us in welcoming Joel to the team!
